MCQ Chinese New Year 2026 Celebration

Join MCQ Sports & Community Club (MCQ-SCC) for a joyful Lunar New Year celebration as we welcome the Year of the Horse with community, culture and prosperity!

This special afternoon brings together members, families, friends and the wider community to celebrate together in a relaxed and festive environment.

Event Highlights:

1. Prosperity Toss (Lou Sang) at 3.00pm – a meaningful tradition symbolising good fortune, unity and success
2. Food Stalls offering festive treats
3. A warm, family-friendly community gathering
4. Date: Sunday, 22 February 2026
5. Time: Event starts at 2.30pm
6. Venue: Warrigal Road State School, Queensland

Come along, toss high for prosperity, and celebrate the Lunar New Year with us. All are welcome!

• Venue: Victoria Point Recreation Reserve (behind MRQ Victoria Point)
• Fees: Members $15 | Non-Members $20

Join us for a fun-filled day by the foreshore with delicious food, exciting games, and plenty of family activities. Bring along your picnic spirit and enjoy a relaxed day of laughter, friendship, and community bonding.
